Final Project Instructions

Roundtable. Take part in a roundtable discussion focusing on the following topics:
Is gentrification good or bad? Is London still a diverse city, open to all kinds of residents? Who is responsible for the current situation?

A moderator will make sure that everyone can express their views and will help guide the discussion. 

You will role-play one of the following people, according to the role assigned by your teacher.
a real estate agent - a long-time resident - a city council member - a landlord or landlady - an anti-gentrification activist - a moderator.

1. Preparation. Use the worksheet to prepare the viewpoint you are going to defend and build your arguments according to your role and your social status.

2. Roleplay. Get into groups of six (5 participants + moderator) and role-play the roundtable.
